೧) ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಸಿ-ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಿ:

ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ದಿವ್ಯ ಮಂತ್ರ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡು-ನುಡಿ-ಜಲ-ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ  ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಣ್ಣರ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದು. ಈ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಕೊಂಡಿ ಕಳಚದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ.

೨) ಕಲಿ-ನಲಿ:

ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಹೊರೆ ಎನಿಸದೆ ಮೋಜಿನಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿರುವಂತೆ ಕಲಿಸಲು ಶ್ರಮಿಸುವುದು.

೩) ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ-ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ನಿರೂಪಣೆ:

ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಚಿಣ್ಣರ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿರೂಪಿಸುವುದು.

೪) ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ-ತಳಹದಿ:

ಮುಗ್ಧ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಲೇಪನ ಕೊಡಲು ಶ್ರಮಿಸುವುದು.

Charlotte Devaranama Group was founded by a small group of people in the year 2004 with the intention of promoting & sustaining Devaranama culture in Charlotte area. The group was founded by and run to date by musically inclined people from CKB. Most important of the festivals hosted has been the Annual Purandara Aradhana, hosted every year in honor of Sangeetha Pitamaha Sri Purandara Dasaru and celebration of his contribution to Carnatic music and Devaranama Literature. The group thrives to keep the rich tradition alive in Charlotte and pass the fragrance to next generation.
